Masjid Ad Da’wah Ilat Tawheed
Masjid Ad Da’wah Ilat Tawheed began as a Da’wah Center in Baltimore City in 2001. The Da’wah Center was called “The Islamic Network and Da’wah Information Project”. It was established as a means to call and invite Muslims and Non-Muslims to the way of Allaah and the Sunnah of His last Messenger, Muhammad ibn ‘Abdullaah (May Allaah’s peace and blessing be upon him), as understood by those pious forefathers who lived with the Prophet, learned from the Prophet, and witnessed the revelation as it came down from Allaah to the Prophet over the course of 23 years.
The Da’wah Center later became Masjid Ad Da’wah Ilat Tawheed, but it continues to put forth a vigorous da’wah program that has reached every part of Baltimore City and spread to every correctional institution in the State of Maryland. Although the Masjid has been in existence for some years now, the people of Baltimore often refer to it as “The Da’wah Center” due to its reputation in calling the people to the religion of Allaah and the Sunnah of the last Messenger of Allaah (May Allaah’s peace and blessing be upon him). In 2008, the Masjid moved from its Charles Street location to a larger building at 2203 Maryland Ave. where it is currently located today.
